Inkwell and Feeling!!! My favorite kind of collab. I love reading these thoughts on hospitality and its purpose and beauty but also I’m so excited to try these recipes! And I love the framing that feeling nauseous is not necessarily a bad thing to be avoided, it just comes with the territory of vulnerability. Or at least it does for me too.
Loved this. As someone who lived at L'Abri for over eight years, I was very influenced by Edith. Now having moved to a new and bigger city, I recognize how rare a hospitable mindset is. I feel so alive when I can welcome people in, whether for a poetry night, a birthday dinner, or a lunch before we all Zoom into class together for the afternoon. My friends say "Fancy!" and laugh when I light the taper candles, but it never quite feels like a meal without that welcoming light.
These are very real, very helpful tips! I especially love how you described the purpose and gentle structure. I'm recovering from inviting everyone to everything, and it's been good for me, my friends, and my husband. 😅 And I love this take on Thanksgiving food! Thank you for sharing!
I want to make every single one of these recipes 😋😋😋
Your friends will really want to come over again if you do! Beware.

Incredible, practical, beautiful.
I've also been a huge fan since reading the Locals guide to hosting and the bit on "give people something to do"—it's SO good.
Thank you for sharing your heart and home!!
Thank you, Kayla! This is so kind!

A match made in heaven! So excited to work with Inkwell. Thank you for reading! Glad we both feel nauseous, haha!
This was incredible. I just may quote it during my sermon on Sunday. Nevertheless, thank you.

We do this on Christmas day. Some years it's rowdy and other years it's quiet. But it's become a rhythm I love.
Love this
